The school of Cadmous in Tyre is one of the oldest educational facilities in Tyre. It is a KG to senior high school that enrolls 1,200 students in the biblical city of Tyre. It is managed by the congregation of Brothers of the Apostles (Frères des Apotres).
The school is located in an agrarian community and caters to the fishermen community that has been mostly unemployed due to turmoil in that area.
Education here has shifted from French to English as second language with French added as minor third language. This school is very well managed and offers well rounded education with a strong sports program as well as SAT preparation. In 2018, 18 students were awarded tuition aid. Below a glimpse of Cadmous grounds and students.
