Ehmej is a snowy peak. So heating fuel gobbles a big chunk of the budget of the school.  Many families spend the winter in the village despite freezing temperatures, because they cannot afford housing on the shore.  Families mostly survive on seasonal and construction work.  Below are pictures of our distribution process, summer camp activities, and a year end student show. Fifteen students received tuition aid in 2018.
